The Facet is rigid enough to allow installers to build out the array frame with the Facet “floating” on the roof.
Once array mounting structure is complete, the Facet can be attached using up to 16 fasteners in order achieve up to 10,000 lbs. tensile strength and 6,000 lbs. shear strength. After attaching, pair each Facet with the appropriate flashing option to ensure a watertight installation. Simply put: the Facet is likely the strongest low-slope roof attachment solution in the industry.
